Thermowell® GOLD reaction vessels are a new and complete line of PCR products from Corning. The high quality microplates, tubes, tube strips, and sealers are designed to be fully compatible with today's instrumentation. Researchers that utilize thermocycling, sequencing, or quantitative technology such as real-time PCR will find Thermowell GOLD reaction vessels to be ideally suited for their applications. The superior quality molding process guarantees the following features for this product line:
- PCR tubes and plates feature ultra thin and uniform wall thickness
Longer cap flanges on tubes and 1x8 cap stripes
Full skirt, half skirt and elevated skirt formats for 96 well PCR microplates
Compatibility of 384 well PCR microplates with high throughput thermocyclers and sequencers
Optically clear 1x8 flat strips and universal optical sealing tape
Certified RNase- and DNase-free Sealing tapes prevent evaporation and enable oil-free operation when used with thermal cyclers with heated lids. The universal optical sealing tape can be used in detection coupled with PCR systems (“real time” PCR).
